The Manufacturing module turns raw materials into finished goods with a full work-order lifecycle. (Advanced finite-capacity planning / MRP-II is intentionally out of scope — this is practical shop-floor manufacturing.)

• Work Orders — A work order drives a manufacturing run from scheduling through completion — tracking the Product being built, planned and produced quantities, materials consumed, operations performed, and quality checks recorded along the way.
• Routings & Operations — Operation templates define the ordered production steps for a composite Product — name, sequence, work center, and estimated time — and are copied onto work orders to guide and track execution.
• Work Centers — A station on the shop floor — a machine, bench, or team — with its own capacity and hourly cost, that operations are routed through when you build something.

Work orders #

A work order produces a quantity of a Product. It tracks status through its lifecycle, consumes materials, and outputs finished units into inventory when complete.

Bills of materials #

Work orders explode a multi-level bill of materials — sub-assemblies and their components, cycle-safe and merging shared materials — so the full material requirement is calculated automatically. A BOM tree viewer shows the hierarchy on the Product.

Routing and work centers #

Define operations routed across work centers so the build follows the right steps in the right places, with scheduling support and a Gantt view.

Materials, cost, and quality #

Consume materials (recorded as movements), track labor and cost, and run quality checks as part of the order. A WIP report breaks down active work orders by material and labor cost.
